The North Carolina Jaycees holds two conferences per year in North Carolina. We typically have a Year-End Convention in January/February and a Mid-Year Convention in July/August. The locations of these conventions vary, but are always held in North Carolina & typically at a hotel with meeting and banquet space. These conferences are a great place for socializing, networking, obtaining training..all of this with the goal of shaping the future of our organization.
Conventions are also where we recognize outstanding local programs, officers and individual members. Find award nomination forms Below

Competitions are held semi-annually at state-sponsored events. Top performers in these competitions move on to National competitions and, from there, compete at the International level.
Why not try your hand at a variety of events, including speaking, writing, and debating? There’s no better time than now to improve your skills.
Competitions will take place on Saturday, February 3rd as part of the 2023 Year-End Convention! Even if you are not competing, we encourage members and guests to attend in order to support participants and learn more about the competition program.
Current chapter presidents and state officers compete in the Master’s category and all others compete in the Regular category. Topics include Speak Up, Write Up, and Debate :
