Civic Leadership Certification (CLC), previously known as Parade of Excellence (POE) serves as a guide for running a healthy, thriving chapter. To achieve 100% efficiency (i.e. be a well-rounded chapter), your chapter must complete every item listed in the CLC forms. These submissions allow you to be considered for Civic Leadership Certification.

Items included in NC CLC also meet the JCI USA requirements and deadlines for Civic Leadership Certification. We will submit these items on your behalf to National, once you have submitted them to us, or you are welcome to do it on your own via www.jayceemember.com.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Items for this certification on the state level will cover membership, chapter management, personal growth, leadership development, and community, as well as participation in state, national & international events.

RANKINGS:
All local chapter submissions will be ranked by credits. These credits will be validated by the CLC Program Manager to determine the top chapter. There will also be Year-End recognition given to any chapter who improves by 20% from Mid-year to Year-end. Also, chapters participating in this program for the first time (or for the first time in the last 4 semesters) will also be given recognition.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
All local chapters participating in this program must be current with all financial responsibilities to the State or by the submission deadline to be considered for recognition.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
For certain CLC entries, you will be required to email or submit documentation. These include, but are not limited to, sign-in sheets, agendas, newsletters, screenshots of web pages/social posts, or copies of emails. Documents may be submitted in one of the following formats: .pdf, .doc or .xls. Images may be submitted in one of the following formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif).

SUBMISSION:

For 1st Semester (Mid-Year Convention) the due dates for items will be:

2/28, 4/30/17, 7/9/17, and 7/15/17

For 2nd Semester (Year-End Convention) the due dates for items will be:

11/15/17 & 12/15/17
