Our Core Values
The North Carolina Jaycees is a dynamic network of young professionals, ages 18-40, committed to developing as leaders while making lasting impact. Through hands-on experience, training, and community-driven projects, we equip our members with the skills and confidence to drive change across North Carolina.
Rooted in local action, strengthened by statewide collaboration, and connected to a national and global movement, we empower young leaders to turn ideas into impact- both in their communities and beyond.
Jaycees are more than just members of their local chapters- they are part of a powerful network that extends across North Carolina, the United States, and the world. As members of JCI USA and JCI, a global federation of nearly 250,000 young leaders and entrepreneurs in over 100 countries, Jaycees participate in impactful projects, leadership programs, and events that drive real change.

The Jaycee Creed
Since it was originally adopted in 1946, Junior Chamber members all over the world have recited the Jaycee Creed at local, national, and international functions. Every member is free to interpret the Creed in the light of their own conscience.
We Believe:
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life.
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations.
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise.
That government should be of laws rather than of men.
That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality.
And that service to humanity is the best work of life!
